The project aimed to enhance V4-Azerbaijan cooperation in the sphere of innovation by linking startup ecosystem players such as innovation hubs, private investors, VCs, and innovation-seeking corporations from the Visegrad Group (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia) with leading Azerbaijani startups and innovators. It also established a new high-performing networking zone for partners and experts from the Visegrad Group and Azerbaijan, including incubators, NGOs, and universities.
The project has already delivered 8 online chapters, each hosting 10 different teams from Azerbaijan, in key V4 tech cities, focusing on startup education and sharing partners’ know-how. Now, 80 startups are set to conclude their individual challenges. In the spring of 2023, a selection committee decided on 20 startups to participate in the Semi Demo Day in Ganja, with 8 seats already secured by winners of the regional chapters. The project’s on-site Grande Finale took place in Baku in June 2023.
