About the Poland Prize powered by Startup Hub Poland

An acceleration program aimed at helping startups from outside of Poland expand to the Polish and other CEE markets.

Between July 2018 and December 2019, the program will support 26 foreign startups in 3 seasons in setting up a business in Poland and then tapping into the rapidly growing Polish market and expanding beyond the country.

The Program is promoted, in terms of its content and financial support, by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development from the European Union funds.

Batch #3

For the Startup Hub: Poland Prize batch #3 we received 462 applications from 65 countries. After the evaluation, we chose 11 startups who are participating in the acceleration between August and December 2019.

Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo SA (ang. The Polish Oil and Gas Company) is the leader in the Polish natural gas market. The company operates in exploration for and production of natural gas and crude oil. It holds equity interests in about 30 subsidiaries through which the company is active in the area of import, storage, sale and distribution of gas and liquid fuels, as well as heat and electricity generation.

InnVento is a project started by the Polish Oil and Gas Company (PGNiG SA). The main goals of the organization are to support the development of startups in the energy sector and to jointly search for new technological solutions. It is the first startup initiative in the Polish oil sector which aims to make a significant change both in the Polish and international energy sectors.
